This is the current course in progress and it is half through and will end sometime before the Holidays.  The next class, Strategic Management of Resources, will begin early 2009.  The exact date is still pending.   This program has a cost structure which differs from the CPIM  series.




LEAN Workshop

For the first time, Champlaign Valley APICS will be offering the new LEAN Workshop.  This program is very new and I have yet to recieve more details on the course information, but It will be listed here as soon as the information becomes available.  Tentative date for this course will in the spring of 2009.  This course requires that 5 members are enrolled.  Please email the chapter email Address with 'LEAN' in the subject line if you are interested.  Spaces will fill up fast, so act now if you wish to reserve a spot.

CPIM Registration Information:

These courses will be held on Tue. or Wed. evenings from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

The courses are being held at IBM's main facility in Essex Jct.

Course materials include APICS Participant Workbook and CPIM Practice Exam.

CPIM Exams are given in S. Burlington at Pearson VUE Proffesional Center.

Payment due at first class or contact Jennifer Kevlin at 871-7593 with questions.

Cost of each Course is $350 for APICS Members, $450 for Non-members.

Cost of each Exam is $120 for APICS members, $155 for Non-members.

Exams are optional; for those seeking Certification only.

All Participants will be contacted with specific classroom information. 

  Those wishing to take a computer-based test need to schedule their exams with  the APICS test provider, which is Pearson Vue Proffessional Center  30 Kimbal Ave. S. Burlington, VT  Ph 802-657-3535.      CBT can be scheduled via the Pearson Vue website.

The Certification Maintenance program upholds both the objectives of the CPIM and CFPIM programs and APICS' vision to promote lifelong learning.  The program recognizes that individuals are at various levels in their careers, come from a variety of industries, have differing educational needs and career goals, and have varying degrees of access to continuing education.  Requirements for maintaining certification can be met through a variety of professional development activities.
